Microsoft Mobile Internet Toolkit (MMIT) is a legacy set of ASP.NET server controls and design-time tools for building mobile web applications targeting early mobile devices. It uses device adapters and a browser-capabilities database to adapt a single codebase to multiple markup formats—WML, cHTML, and HTML—so apps can run on WAP phones, Pocket PC/Windows CE devices, and early smartphones. MMIT integrates with Visual Studio .NET, offering a Mobile Web Forms designer and controls such as Form, Label, TextBox, List, Command, and Validation, plus an extensibility model for custom device adapters. The toolkit was later rolled into ASP.NET Mobile Controls and has since been deprecated. For new development, modern responsive web design and contemporary ASP.NET frameworks are recommended; MMIT remains relevant mainly for maintaining older applications.

Microsoft Mobile Internet Toolkit is developed by Microsoft. The most popular version of this product among our users is 1.0.
